Fun Team Days at Weetwood Hall
Perhaps you don't have a serious business change agenda. It might be that you want to celebrate an achievement, reward high performers, or just build on the good relationships you already have. If that's the case, talk to the Collingwood Group. We have a sense of humour (which, believe us, is necessary in our line of work!), and we understand that you can learn a lot about the state of your teams by the amount of laughter they can generate.
Case Study
Ernst and Young wanted a fun day for 120 staff. That's a lot of fun! So we set a series of tasks we knew would test their ingenuity and at the same time tickle their funny bones. As the laughter levels rose, the underlying messages in the events were taken on board.
Outcomes
- Improved internal relationships
- Defusing niggles and running sores
- A sense of being valued and rewarded
- Associating work with fun
- Corporate good memories

Steven Wake of The Collingwood Group listened to our requirements for a range of Team Building activities to challenge and entertain almost 120 staff and they certainly delivered.
The round robin of activities energised and motivated our teams and were all carried out in a fun and relaxed environment.
The feedback received (such as the comment below) has all been very positive which is extremely satisfying.
I really enjoyed the opportunity to be in a team with my workmates in such a fun way. The activities were lively, challenging and varied with good guidance, support and encouragement from the facilitators.
The best thing was "Babe" the sheep pig, the sense of achievement for our team as we successfully negotiated the obstacle course was a real high.
As the string was about to break and my manager was struggling to keep her feet with her arms flailing like a windmill, I knew that back in the office we would not be able to look at each other without laughing, this was my funniest moment of the day.
Joanne Sherlock, Ernst & Young.
